Kanimadala ("we", "us") operates a local business directory and marketplace connecting visitors with businesses that list properties, vehicles, and products/services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with, across the three ways people use the site: as a visitor browsing listings, as a business owner ("tenant") managing a listing, or as a platform administrator.

2. Information we collect

If you browse the site as a visitor:

• Information you submit through an enquiry/contact form: name, email, phone number, your message, and optional details like budget range or preferred contact method.
• Information you submit when leaving a review: your name, email, rating, and review text.

If you register a business (tenant account):

• Account details: email, phone, name, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and profile photo.
• Business details you provide: business name, category, address, contact details, and any photos or media you upload.
• Login activity, such as the time of your most recent login.

Automatically, for everyone:

• A single session cookie used to keep you signed in to a tenant or admin account. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Basic, non-identifying display information (like a business name) may be cached in your browser's local storage to make the interface load faster — this is a convenience cache, not how we authenticate you.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies/pixels, and we do not currently process payments or store payment card details on this platform.

3. How we use your information

• To operate your account and let you sign in.
• To route your enquiry to the specific business you contacted.
• To display reviews and listings on the site.
• To communicate with you about your account or enquiry.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

4. Who we share your information with

When you submit an enquiry or review about a specific business, that information is shared with the business (tenant) you contacted so they can respond to you. Each business is responsible for how it handles the enquiry and reviewer information it receives, in addition to our own responsibilities as the platform operator.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain account, enquiry, and review information for as long as the related business account remains active. If a business account is deleted, its associated enquiries and reviews are permanently deleted along with it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. Business owners can update or remove most of their own account and listing information directly from their dashboard.

7. Children's privacy

This platform is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
